Fishy The Fishy!

So Friday night we had my cousin Lindsey's weddind, it was very nice!
For center pieces they had little fishies in bowls, it was very cute. Anyway we diced to bring one home for Jaidyn, well and Papa got one for his pond too!
Jaidyn was so exctied the first thing she said was "aww..Mom can you beleive we have a fish just like Abby!"
Than we asked her what she wanted to name him and she said "Fishy The Fishy" So here he is.....

FISHY THE FISHY
Jaidyn is taking good care of him, feeding him and making sure he is moving. She was so happy. She said to me "Awww....I love Fishy The Fishy!" Now isn't that cute!

Jaidyn Learning to Ride!

Look at my little girl go!
All geared up Jaidyn wouldn't even eat dinner. So after Dave, Lincoln and I ate we headed out to the front yard. At first she really didn't like it and kept screaming for Dave or I to be right next to her but by the end of evening she was riding on her own.
It seems like just yesterday she was still a baby and couldn't even walk- and now look at her go!
Finally we headed back in from riding and the first thing Jaidyn said was
"Mom- I am hungry!"
Go figure!

LC in 10 Months old!

Where did the time go? I can not believe that in 2 months my baby will be a year old! He is so cute! I love that all I have to do is look at him and he smiles! At his check up he was 19 1/2 Lbs. & 28 Inches long!
He is everywhere. He tries to get in the bathroom, climb up the stairs, in fact just this morning he fell off the stairs and got his first big bruise on his face! He really is the happiest baby ever, he is constantly smiling and laughing, it is great. Now if we could only get him to sleep a little!!
Happy 10 month birthday baby boy!

Thomas the Train!

CHUGA CHUGA CHOO CHOO!

Well Thomas the Train was so much fun, and really, really hot!
It seems as though we had no summer but the ONE day we decide to do something out side all day long it is 90 degrees!
I had never been to crossroads village, but was pleasantly surprised. There was lots of stuff for the kids to do.

I loved watching Jaidyn and Caden face when they saw Thomas and to watch them be so anxious to get on the train!
After the train we headed to the house with the Bolingers and grilled out and visited. It was really nice. We are so lucky to have such good friends to do things like this with!

Homecoming 2009

Every year Dearborn does a homecoming festival the first full weekend of August. As a kid I can remember counting down the days till this event and if it rain I was crushed. Over the years my dad has always gone. I had not been in a few years. When Dave and I first started dating I would take him with me and he hated it! He got to watch me visit with people he had never met before. Than we had kids and it was just always a little hectic with the little ones.
Well this year I decided to come home on my own, sans kids, sans husband.
I had so much fun! I met my sister Kimmy at Howells where we had breakfast and bloody marys. We ended up staying most of the day. I had a surprise visit from a dear old friend Mike Burgess, it was so great to catch up. Sometimes I think about all the time we spent together in highschool and those first few years after highschool and its hard to imagine that we are not that close any more.
After howells Kimmy and I had some dinner and than got ready and headed to homecoming.
Rick Springfield preformed and it was actually really good. I enjoyed myself!
After the homecoming was over Kimmy and I walked up to Cheli's and hung out.
I ran into Mike Coppo, another dear old friend. It was so great, just like old times.
Highschool was one of my favorite times in my life it was fun to go down memory lane again.

What a blast!
