Recital

The Pre-School Recital!!!
What fun! This was so cute! I was laughing and crying so much that my cheeks hurt.
What a great day! First I took Jaidyn to rehearsal and Amy & I went for breakfast at the Farmers Market- it was yummy. I think we drank a whole pot of coffee!!!

So after we picked the girls up from rehearsal we took them to McDonalds where they barely ate anything! They were so excited, it was adorable.

Than we took them up to Kari's salon- Salon Bien! Where Jamie did their hair, it was so cute! They had so much fun getting sparkles!

After the fun time at the salon it was time to come home, get dressed, put makeup on and head out for the big night. Lincoln of course was into the whole thing. He kept giving Jaidyn a hug and absolutely screamed when Dave & Jaidyn went out side to take pictures!!!

The show its self was very cute. Jaidyn's best friend Abby graduated and it was just adorable! We are so proud of our growing girl!!!

A Big Boy Bed!

It's time for a BIG BOY bed!!!
Well so we thought!
When we moved into our new house (3 years ago!) Jaidyn was 18 months old and we put her into a big girl bed, so when Lincoln turned 18 months we thought we would give it a try!

He was super excited, and loved having the bed. He slept in it for two nights and than- he realized he wasn't "caged" in anymore!!!

And this little cutie is a quiet kid. He gets out of his bed and you barely know he is moving around. So BACK to the crib, in the meantime at least he "seemed" ready!!!

Lincoln's First Hair Cut

As much as I didn't want to do it, it had to be done! We took Lincoln to see Kari at Salon Bien and she cut his hair! Uggh! I hoped so much Lincoln would have Jaidyn's curly hair so he could have a curly top! But it is stick straight, but still super cute!!

He was such a good boy, ok so I had to give him my cell phone but he still did good!!!

Believe in The Bunny!

This year we took Jaidyn & Lincoln to see the easter bunny up at the gym. They had this wonderful easter egg hunt, the weather was beautiful and kids had a blast.

Lincoln was very exicted to be there and be able to run around but when it came time to sit on the bunny's lap he wanted nothing to do with it! He is so funny!

The kids had a blast running around and getting all kinds of cool little toys and lots of candy!

Coloring Eggs!

For the last two years we have started a tradition of egg coloring with the Shifflett's!
The girls just love it, they think it is very cool that we all get together and enjoy this time!

This year the "littles" wanted to join in the fun! Audrey was in knee deep and Lincoln just kept trying to reach for things. We are sure going to have our hands full next year.

These kids are the cutest and I love watching them grow and learn and become such wonderful kids!

Audrey's 2nd Birthday

I think this picture says it all!
Audrey Shifflett is 2!!!

Over the last two years I have written a lot of blogs that include the Shifflett's. We became friends with this wonderful family through daycare almost exactly two years ago! Amy was pregnant with Audrey and I was pregnant with Lincoln when we met(well just barely, we had just found out) So we joke about Audrey's birthday being our friendship anniversary!!
So on March 9th Audrey turned two!

And she enjoyed every minute of it, I have really loved watching this little sweety grow up. She has such a contagious smile and has really started to form her own personality.

The BFF's Jaidyn and Abby had a blast too! I wasn't sure they were going to let Audrey open her own presents but they did good. Lincoln was also very fascinated by all the excitement and kept trying to take Audrey's new toys!
It was a great day and we are so glad to be apart of these special events!

Jaidyn's last gymnastics class

On Tuesday Jaidyn had her last day of gymnastics.
The parents were allowed to come in and peak. I was so impressed with how well she is doing. I couldn't believe the strength she had.
Also at the end of class they gave the kids a ribbon and everyone clapped. Even Lincoln clapped for Jaidyn, it was really cute.
We were very proud of her because this was the first time she really did any type of activity on her own. So we are going to continue on this spring and see how she likes it.
