Saturday was Nicole & Jeff's baby shower and it was great to see everyone! Nicki has two boys Ryan & Tyler and Baby Emily on the way. Tracey has Marissa and q Baby Boy on the way! Jill is having a baby in October! WOW! All of us with kids, I can't believe it! It was so nice to see everyone and spend some time catching up. Nicki & Jeff got a lot of great things. I am very happy for them. They are two great people and I wish them the best of luck!

I cant believe it, the kids are all growing up so fast!
This was a big day for the Shifflett family. Their little girl is no longer a baby. The party was great and Audrey was truly the star of the show! She didn't stop for a moment. It was wonderful!
We became friends with the Shifflett's a year ago right after Audrey was born. It has been a wonderful year becoming friends with Amy & Joe and watching the kids play and grow together. Amy & Joe have become such good friends and we are very grateful.
We are very glad that we were apart of their special day!

This year we went to Little Joe's! It was nice to spend some time out as JoAnna & Dave, instead of Mom & Dad! It was great to have a couple of Beers and spend some time with some good friends and family! We really need to do this more often. It was fun but not crazy! It was also great to come home and see my cute kids!
Speaking of cute kids, isn't Jaidyn adorable! She insisted on having her picture taken before school. "Mommy- will you take a picture of me to send to Grandma?" So Grandma these are for you!

LC is 5 Months Old!!

I can't believe my sweet baby has hit 5 months old. He is SOOO big!!
and adorable of course. He is doing so great! He rolls over back and forth all the time. He is very into watching his hands, he likes to touch things and than look at his hands- it is so cute. He is starting to sit up on his own and now eats cereal and veggies-this week we are starting him on fruit which I have no doubt he will love them!
Lincoln is such a good baby. He sleeps through the night, which is great. I honestly think he has to be the happiest baby ever!

I am so lucky to have been blessed with another wonderful baby! Every day I count my blessings! He absolutely takes my breathe away every time I even think of him!
I could not imagine my life any different!

Why Things Happen...

I have been having a hard time lately wondering why things happen. So many people experience too much pain. I have often wondered why this is. I am usually a few weeks, months, or years later blessed with the realization that everything happens for a reason. That reason we maybe not ever know but it usually something we need to learn or to help others with.

This week I encountered another friend whose "trying" is not successful. So again I am wondering why is this happening. Why are they not one of the lucky ones that doesn't even need to try.


Oh how I wish that no one ever had to experience that feeling...
the pain....
the disappointment....
the rush of the hope....
and than the cycle starting all over.


I would love to erase this feeling from my friend and everyone else who endures it. Sometimes things don't go the way we have planned but we need to cling to that hope. The hope and realization that there is a reason.

How cute is this? Abby is Jaidyn's best friend and they learn something new every day at school.
I never knew that two cute three year olds could be so smart. One day Amy tells me that Abby comes home from preschool saying the Pledge of Allegiance and next thing I know Jaidyn is saying it too!
From the video you can clearly see that Abby is the star in the video she knows it much better than Jaidyn!
I love to watch Jaidyn & Abby grow and learn new things everyday, it is truly amazing. They are growing up so fast!
