Trying to Walk...and another new tooth!

Well Lincoln is just on the move, I can't believe how much he has changed just in the last couple of weeks! Last night he decided he was going to pull himself up on one of his walking toys and try walking. As you can see in the video, he is good! Oh and did I mention he got his 2nd tooth! Oh and I think he has got to be the cutest boy ever!
Watch out world here I come!

Beulah Vacation 2009

Every year since I was a little kid we have always gone up to Beulah, Michigan for aweek and usually around the same week. Beulah is a cute little town on Crystal Lake just about 30 minutes south of Traverse City. Dave and I have continued to go with my family. It is always a very fun trip. The last few years we stayed at the best bed and breakfast but this year didn't feel we could do it with both kids. Plus since I have been traveling so much for work I had some Marriott points to use and we ended up staying at the Fairfield in for free, you can't beat that!

My parents had their own place on the lake and my sisters got a place on the lake so we always had somewhere to go. So Every morning we woke up had breakfast at the hotel and than packed for the day to go to the lake houses, Jaidyn thought this was very cool! We were able to swim two days and one day Dave & I took the kids and went for a drive along M22, we ended up stopping in Empire which has a really pretty stop on Lake Michigan and took some pictures of the kids, it was one of my most favorite times. One day my parents took the kids for a few hours and Dave and I went to my sisters cottage and just hung out. It was a lot of fun but by the time we got to my parents the kids were exhausted and Jaidyn had two ice creams that day!

We had such a great vacation, with lots of sun, family and or course ice cream! We are already looking into next year and I think it might be time for the Rainney's to get their own cottage!

Lincoln is 9 Months Old!

I can't believe my little man is really 9 months old. In the last few weeks he has really developed a lot more. Lincoln finally got his first tooth, he started saying dada and mama, he started pulling himself up and now he is clapping his hands!! It has got to to be the cutest thing I have ever seen! We are still having the issues with the congestion, vomiting and horseness. The latest is they don't think it is allergies but acid reflux, we are on a whole new round of medicine. So far I am not convinced it is that either. I just feel so bad for him, I want him to feel better. Even when he is sick he is still the best baby!

I am so amazed everyday by all the new things that he is learning, it is absolutely adorable! Jaidyn and him are really interacting now, they love to wrestle together on the floor, of course Jaidyn gets a little bit too rough but it is really cute. We are so lucky to have such beautiful children inside and out.

The Relaxing weekend, with the Bolingers!

We spent the weekend of the 4th with the Bolingers!
And man did we have a great time. It was a full weekend of fun and relaxation. The kids just played and played. We went for boat rides, had a bonfire every night and just enjoyed hanging out.
We were very grateful to have been invited. It couldn't have been a better weekend! Hopefully we will do it again next year!
The kids played so hard that they passed out outside in the tent, it was so adorable!

Kim holding Lincoln!

The little guys....Lincoln & Carson! They loved these little chairs, so cute!

Caden had so much fun throwing rocks, it was very cute!
Kim & Jason are so wonderful friends and we wouldn't have wanted to spend the 4th with anyone else.
We are very grateful to Kim's parents for having us to their house. They have such a beautiful home and they made us feel very welcome.

Happy 4th!!!

Happy 4th of July!
Jaidyn was very excited to wear her star shirt to school, and "can you even believe Lincoln has a matching red, white & blue outfit, mommy?"

Ever since Jaidyn was a baby I have always dressed her up for the holidays either in a shirt or dress or at the very least bows, I am finding this a lot harder with a boy, so I tried. At least I got the colors correct!

On the way to school Jaidyn asked me if we had all of the fireworks ready? She is my little planner!
Happy 4th Everyone!
