Lincoln's Baptism

God grant your little one
All the blessing of His gentle love

Sunday February 15th was a big day for Lincoln Christopher. His baptism was absolutely amazing. It was extremely personal and we were really happy with how everything turned out. The best part was that Jaidyn got to help, she got to actually put some of the water on to Lincoln's head and that was so great. She was so proud of herself. This was such a wonderful day for us, it was a great feeling to hold Lincoln in our arms and have him baptized and blessed.
We have a lot of wonderful friends and family in our lives and we are very grateful they could all share in this amazing day.
We chose my sister Kim and our good friend Mike to be Lincoln's god parents. We know they will be wonderful god parents.

I want you to know how lucky I feel to have Godparents like you. Someone who always loves me no matter what I do. When I think of you I count my blessings and thank the Lord above that I have you for my Godparents because Godparents are chosen with love.

Lincoln is 4 Months Old!

I can't believe my baby is already 4 months old.
He is really getting a great personality. He has the best smiles and giggles ever.
We started giving him cereal last weekend and he loves it.
Now he already starts opening his month right when he sees the spoon. It is so cute. I am really enjoying watching him change every day. In the last week his hair really started to get thicker and longer. If he has hair anything like Jaidyn's I will never want to cut it!
He is definitely sleeping thru the night now. He goes down about 9ish and gets up at 7, it is great. He is continually trying to reach for things and is trying REALLY hard to turn over. I am sure it will be soon.
My favorite thing is how he can see me all the way across the room and all I have to do is give him a big smile and he lets out one of his great big giggles! In fact right now Dave is holding him and he is just smiling like crazy. I love my sweet babies!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

On Friday Jaidyn had a party at school and she delivered her princess valentines. I was traveling for work so Dave got her ready for school that day. Can you believe a Dad can do hair that cute? He may have missed his calling!
When I got home from Chicago Dave, Lincoln and I went and had dinner at The French Laundry. It was a nice afternoon.
I enjoyed my valentines day with my cute little love bugs!

Run Quarter Run!

Jaidyn said " Mommy, can we throw a toy so Quarter can run?"
And I laughed so hard, I think she is having a hard time remembering Aunt Kimmy's dogs name is Porter not Quarter.
So we threw a toy and Porter ran and Jaidyn said "Run Quarter Run!" and than she had a fit because Daddy threw the toy and she wanted to do it.
It was so funny!

15 Seconds

Today we went to see my nephew Marcus at his wrestling meet in Fenton at Fenton High School. It was really cool. I am so proud of him and enjoyed watching the meets. Marcus won first place! I was so excited I got to see him pin a kid in 15 seconds flat, man was he proud of himself and he should be.

It was so funny. I asked Jaidyn if she wanted to go to school there when she got bigger and she said "Mommy, I don't want to wrestle!" She did think it was very loud and stinky in the gym! I am glad we got to go and experience this with Marcus!
Congratulations! We are so proud!

Family Pictures

This past weekend we finally went and got pictures taken!!! Lincoln is 3 months old and Jaidyn is 3 years old so we thought it would be a good time to do them. I think they turned out great!!!

I was so stressed about doing these pictures, which seems so silly now. With Jaidyn we took pictures so often. By the time she was 3 months we had already done 2 sets of professional pictures, so I had all this pressure on myself that I needed to do the same with Lincoln, but it just didn't happen. One of my best friends lent me this great book called "I was a really good mom before I had kids" and if it wasn't for that book I would have probably lost my mind! So in the spirit of the book I decided I needed to quit putting so much pressure on myself and just enjoy the moment of the pictures!!!

So when I finally decided to let go of the moment and let the pictures just happen, here is what we ended up with!!! Some wonderful pictures of my complete family!!!!

Moments of Pause Blog

Well Laura did it again! She created another great blog. This time I think everyone should take a moment and read it:
http://momentsofpause.blogspot.com
This blog is truly amazing. Every single word that she says and she writes is beautiful. I have never heard someone else say the words that I have always feared to say or wanted to say but wasn't sure how to say them.
I am very grateful to have such a wonderful friend that really knows how to express herself!
So take a Moment and Pause- I promise you will not regret it!
